What are the differences between the Capacitive and Resistive methods in the INDIBA System?
The Capacitive method causes the temperature to increase more rapidly in the epidermis, however it penetrates less energy internally than the Resistive method. Additionally, the Resistive method uses 100% of the current.
Which model of INDIBA equipment provides the deepest treatment?
All Indiba system models reach exactly the same depth. The main difference is the total amount of power supplied, and therefore that absorbed by the body, is greater with a more powerful device. This is even more applicable to the Resistive mode.The ER45 is the highest power supply model of system also i.e. treating cellulite trapped fat on ER42 in 25-35 sessions ER45 15-25 sessions.
Can any product be used to enhance a treatment?
No. During application of the treatment, it is recommended to use the gels specially formulated by INDIBA to obtain optimum results. Post-treatment products considered may be used according to their directions of use. The absorption may increase due to the improvement of the blood circulation. Dose of complimentary products could be necessary to be adjusted.
Should the manual massage be given before or after the treatment with the INDIBA System?
Always after the treatment, since the area will be relaxed and any possible injury will be avoided (eg. due to excessive pressure).
What should be done if someone has a history of allergy to other products or cosmetics?
Before proceeding to a generalised treatment, it is advisable to treat a surface area of three or four square centimetres to see if there are any signs of allergic reaction to the products recommended by INDIBA.
Can I treat clients who recieve Botox, Fillers?
Yes, separating the administration (at least 1-2 days) and being aware about the signs of tolerance during the Indiba treatment.
Can one take a shower after a treatment with the INDIBA System without losing some of the treatment’s benefits?
Yes, regulating the temperature of the water so that it is not excessively hot or cold.
Can jewellery cause burns during treatment with the INDIBA System?
Jewellery that does not have firm contact with the skin, for example pendants and chain, can cause problems if close to the application electrode. It is therefore recommendable to remove all metallic objects not in firm contact with the skin.
Can I treat clients who recieve product peel, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, laser, IPL?
Yes, providing no extreme sensitivity induced by other treatment techniques and skin has returned to its natural state.
Will the INDIBA treatment burn?
No, Indiba creates a natural biological effect the tissues create their own heat at the levels the tissue individually requires by absorption of current. Indiba treatment is safe when applied under the approved directions of use.
Is the INDIBA treatment painful?
No, pain free, in fact indiba provides wellbeing and pain relief benefits, common sensation effects are sleep inducing, warm relaxing, easing massage.
